This is a Circa 1840 Gable Entry Barn.  Originally from Hollis, Maine, we re-assembled the frame in Eaton, NH on the foundation of an earlier barn.  The frame is hewn Red Pine with a footprint of 38’x48’.
A full tie and plate frame utilizing the English Tying Joint with a major rafter/common purlin roof system.  (Very common to antique barns in our area of Maine and New Hampshire).
