Kezar Lake, ME

Here is a 31' x 41'  barn frame cut from Hemlock, Pine and Oak.   
Full tie and plate frame utilizing the English Tying joint.  (plates are full 41' timbers!)  There is one clear span Queen Post Truss in the frame.  
(Not typical to a barn frame, but more common in church or meeting house frames.)
